Working with Crystals in Fun and Creative Ways

I have a secret to share … something I never told anyone.

Sometimes … I like to dance with my crystals.

Yes, that’s right, I like to dance with my crystals! You may be thinking, “why???” or you may be thinking how strange I am (nothing I have not heard before).

I dance with crystals because it’s so much fun!

Dancing with crystals is also very healing, clearing and protective. It raises my vibration and does wonders for my Inner Child.

So now comes the part where you are thinking, “I want to dance with crystals, too! How do I do it?”

There is no right or wrong answer. I recommend a crystal in each hand, preferably a wand or pointed crystal to direct energy more intentionally (but work with what you have!). Typically, I hold a Selenite wand in one hand and whichever crystal I am drawn to or currently working with in the other.

I sit with the crystals before hand and speak to them. I talk about my intention before we dance, or sometimes I just let them lead the way fully.

My Inner Child absolutely loves dancing with crystals so I tend to focus on Inner Child healing when I engage in this activity.

Usually, there is music. Whichever song or artist I feel called to at the time.

And then … I just start … dancing.

As someone who has been working with crystals for as long as I can remember in a variety of ways, including channeling messages from the crystals and working with their energy in trance states, this is hands down one of the most fun ways that I enjoy connecting not just with crystals but my Inner Child.

For an added boost, I like to apply some Nina Divina oil by Ancestors Mama on my body, especially my hands, before I dance. This is a powerful oil created to help with Inner Child Healing

Lately I find myself working with Carnelian and Selenite. The energy is so invigorating, energizing and joyful.

Back when we were dealing with the “infestation” in the early stages of owning this new home, every time I would begin to dance the beings here would rush at me and attack me. I would dance harder and louder, and they would become more and more riled up. I danced differently then … the emotion was indescribable, filled with anger, frustration and a lot of “fuck off.” It feels so good to be dancing in a more joyful space these days. Sure, there are times when I dance to grieve, to mourn, to pour out stuck emotions. Today, though, today was a good day. Dancing with Carnelian this morning felt so liberating.

Lastly, even though I have training in dance, when I dance with crystals I tend to look pretty much like Olive in the final scene of “Little Miss Sunshine.” And that is what makes dancing with crystals SO. MUCH. FUN.
